Change of goal

I’ve changed this goal from ‘become financially independent’ to ‘manage my finances’. I suppose the ultimate goal is still to gain financial independence but I’ve realised that this is so vague and so unobtainable at this stage that it isn’t motivating to get control of my finances. The goal is to ensure that over the next year I know what I’m earning and to spend, save and tithe consistently, sensibly and proactively.
Sounds quite boring but has to be done!
