I’m in love with the United Nations. I made my first visit to the forum last Monday, and it was INCREDIBLE. I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E. Our tour guide was equally as incredible, and I answered all of his trivia questions. He thought I was adorably cute and gave me lots of books and pamphelets on the United Nations as well as employment information and internship information.
We spoke in French together. It was lovely.
He encouraged me to work more on my language skills. I’m only fluent in English at the moment, but I’m working toward fluency in French. I think my next language will be Spanish. Nevertheless, I cannot wait for my United Nations opportunities to arise.
