I left my law degree at durham before sitting my final exams- four years and apparently nothing to show for it. This autumn I am starting an OU in English literature. Although this has always been a love of mine and I want to do this course as I am so interested in the set texts etc, part of me really needs some academic achievement just to prove I can – so that I don’t always regret what I walked away from.
