Woot! Healthier and healthier... 2 years ago

and the weight and inches coming off, too. Almost 2 weeks ago, with about 6 weeks on Atkin’s, I maeked a weight loss of 18 lbs! I’m trying not to get scale psycho, so I haven’t been on the scale since, but I’m feeling great and losing inches. I’ll weigh in in another week or 2.
This one goes along with the eath healthier thing, as I wanted/wished. I knew if I could find the right nutritional balance for my body, the weight would begin to come off, too. Perfect. Dr. Atkins diet has made such a difference! No more processed foods, (or veeeery rarely), no sugar. Completely off wheat and corn, which it turns out I was much more allergic to than I ever knew. Woot!



Doing it! 2 years ago

I started Atkin’s 4 weeks ago sunday and I’m loving it, feeling good and losing weight. I don’t really know how much I lost the first 2 weeks because I didn’t have a scale, and had no real idea what weight I’d gotten up to. When I stepped on a scales 2 weeks after beginning, I’d lost 6 lbs from the weight I was in February. I’m pretty sure I had gained a bit since then, so my guess is that I lost well over 10 lbs the first 2 weeks. These last 2 weeks I’ve lost another 4 lbs. Not as much as I’d hoped, I admit, but I’m pretty okay with it. I haven’t been counting the carbs quite correctly I just discovered, so 2 lbs a week is cool.

Took relacort (??)
Rode my bike for 5 minutes.
Ate a donut for breakfast. Not good, but perhaps actually better than my usual nothing until after 3pm or so. We’ll see. Setting daily reminder now.
