We’re still in our little house but starting to think about moving on to a bigger place now. It turns out we bought at the highest price peak and prices crashed not long afterwards but things in the housing market are starting to look up and we haven’t regretted buying at all.

We got the keys to the house early Friday morning, and as I type this on Tuesday afternoon we’ve got almost everything moved in and in it’s proper place – we’re just waiting for the fridge and sofa to be delivered.
It’s absolutely wonderful to have our own home at last! I love it!
We’ve signed the contracts, just waiting for them to be exchanged and we should have the keys within a week!
Our mortgage application was accepted, the house valuation is paid for and the solicitor has been instructed – now it’s just a waiting game!
We put an offer in today on the house we viewed on saturday (and viewed again today to make sure) and although our first offer (£5000 below asking price) was rejected, our second offer (£2000 below asking price) was accepted!!!
If all goes according to plan we could be owners of our own house within months!
