improve my Japanese

Haven’t written in this for a while, I guess.
Since, I enrolled in a language school for the summer and am now living in Kyoto.

Honestly, after actually living here for an extended period, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I learned next to nothing during my language courses at college… full immersion? Yeah, that’s where it’s at.

So my parents came up to visit me at my school for this weekend…mainly to talk to me about “my future.”
After much misery and deliberation, here is the plan.
I finish this year at my current school, University of Vermont. I do an 8-week summer program at JCMU in Japan, in October I’ll enroll in an 18-month college preparation school, and hopefully soon after that I’ll be enrolled as an undergrad. :D

Today I printed out my application to Musashi-Urawa, a Japanese prep school.
Now I just have to convince my parents this is worth leaving my current school for. :P
