so I am honing down where I want to go.

I want to go all over italy, but I can’t get that NW corner out of my head. Portofino and also Cinque Terre.

I’m going to buy a travel book and start really dreaming!

I saw Pagliacci tonight—- and I have decided.
Italy is for me!

I am DYING to go. I might even try to live there like 2 months a year or something. What the heck!

I gave up Portuguese a few months ago, and am trying to get back into French. My choirs are singing a bunch of French pieces.

HOWEVER… I think I need to learn Italian. I think I can study French and Italian sort of concurrently.

So I am a choir director. I have a snazzy new job with great kids (high school) and I TOTALLY want to bring them to Italy! I am thinking February 2009. My mind is already scheming… woohoo!
