I got into the program now I just have to decide if this is the right time in my life to do this.

I can’t believe that after two years I’m still looking at this goal and thinking “someday.” I applied for the Master’s teaching program at ASU and will find out very soon if I got in or not.

I completed the enrollment form today. I will know what area of NYC I’m teaching in April and what college I’m getting my Masters at in May. My training starts June 4th! I’m nervous but I think this is a good thing.

It turns out that when you think everything just got easier in life…there might be something waiting to come along. After convincing myself last night that today I would sign my acceptance to the program, I had a review with my boss and got a bonus and tremendously positive feedback about the work I’m doing here. On one side there is the safety of knowing what I’m doing and on the other side there is embarking on something completely new and exciting. Decisions, decisions..

I just found out that I was accepted into the teaching fellowship. I have three weeks to decide if I’m going to do it. I want to but I need to make sure I’m ready for this kind of a commitment and everything that comes with it.

went okay. i’m not really sure…i find out in January so we’ll see.

for the new york city teaching fellowship…my interview is on Thursday. Wish me luck! However, if I don’t make it to the next stage I will take steps to going back to school on my own while working at my current job.

Although I spent four years getting a degree in Accounting and I could end up making a lot of money, I am aware of the fact that is not what is important to me. I should have followed my heart from the beginning, but better late than never right?
