I was thinking today about actors that I’m always happily surprised and delighted to see in movies, actors that don’t annoy me at all, but I don’t have time to go to my blog and do a whole post ,so I’m making a mental note here and I’ll do a post some other time on my actual blog.

Actors I like with great intensity:
The duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost
John Malkovich
Jeremy Sisto
Christopher Walken
Vincent Gallo
Jeff Goldblum
James Spader
(I’m sure there’s more but I’m drawing a blank.)

Anyway I’m always delighted when one of these guys shows up in a movie, unlike some actors that are overexposed and constantly appear on TV or seem to do a movie every month. I watched a crapload of independent films this month and I’m sure there’s a short blog post in there somewhere but I’m too tired to write one now.
Amyway, I’m glad Jeremy Sisto is still working and his new sitcom isn’t bad.

I did manage to do a couple of small blog updates at the beginning of this month, but my job is so time consuming lately that I don’t have time to stop and blog or do any of my hobbies. Sometimes it’s just nose-to-the-grindstone time and you have periods where working consumes most of your waking life.

Hopefully since this is a holiday weekend I can take a breath and work on my various 43 T goals and enjoy spending time with my kid.
I’m just working long hours to survive and not really stopping to smell the flowers, as they say.

I was walking over a bridge that crosses a canal or creek because my daughter and I were heading to Walmart for snacks,
when we saw a big ,gray form moving slowly through the water.
As we stood on the bridge watching, a mother manatee and her baby swam under us, lazily like they were out for a stroll.
That is pretty cool. I guess because I’ve always lived in Florida, I forget that we have some unique wildlife.
And you don’t see that every day on the way to Walmart.
I’ve seen turtles, ducks, seagulls, and various egrets and ibises around that creek, but this was my first random manatee family, I usually see them at the aquarium.

I’m making a mental note of it here, so I don’t forget to put a little snippet about it in the blog.
