get out of debt

I thought I was about 3000 dollars in debt, but it’s actually more around 4000.

And my checking account got over-drafted last week. So, that’s not helping anything. I thought I sent money from paypal into my bank account…apparently I didn’t confirm it. So I thought I had money in there when I didn’t. Thankfully, I only made one purchase. That made my account -2.02. Stick a 32 dollar per purchase on there and I’m -34.02. It could have been a lot worse.

But I really can’t afford it. I need ANOTHER part for my car. I’ve put over 800 dollars into that car in the past 3 months. Keeping in mind that I make less than 400 dollars a month and spend about 100 or more on gas each month…Yeah. Not good.

I put my 2 weeks in at work. Now, I have to go find a new job. Hopefully, making more than 400 freaking dollars a month.

It feels like I’m going to be in debt forever.

My job sucks.
I make like 100 dollars a week.
I get very few hours.
I’m trying to get a different one.
I’m never going to pay off my debt at this rate.
Gotta get that other job!

So it’s not like I have a ton of debt. I’m only 19, but even so I owe money to the bank and to my parents. The total is around 3000. Sucks. I don’t make much money either, so I really can’t wait til I get a second job so I can be debt free. I never want to get into debt again, unless it’s for a car (to be paid off in 3 years) or a house (to be paid off in 15). So I won’t be able to afford that stuff for awhile.
