I went camping this weekend with a kayaking guide and he happened to mention that the Northern Lights should be here any night now. I live in Fargo, ND, but was camping in Itasca, where the Mississippi begins and the stars were incredible and I was hoping that they would be there while were were camping in our secluded spot under the stars with the Pine trees framing the sky, but alas, no lights!
I have seen them many times growing up in Minnesota, and once in Fargo, but they are much more enchanting away from the city lights.
I checked the Aurora forecast and it looks like they will be here next week.

Just change the current view to your area and check the calender for red days, when you’re most likely to see the lights. Looks like Canada and Alaska get all the good views but I should be able to see them a bit.
Happy sight seeing!
