Learn to play the piano

The best I’ve been doing is continue to plunk away on what seems like an easy one (also my favorite), Fur Elise. I’ve been practicing on my cousin’s keyboard which tells you step by step how to do it. Still hasn’t gotten through yet though lol

I’m not the most musical person, I tend to gravitate more towards the visual arts but I have always been intrigued by the piano. To me, it is such a timeless skill and I have always wanted to learn. At 21, I can’t see myself signing up for piano classes, especially when I don’t have a piano to practice with or even a keyboard. I haven’t even been blessed with those lovely slender fingers perfect for piano playing.

However, watching my 5-year old to see how she will express herself artistically, I am excited to see her being interested more in dance and music. I’ve enrolled her in ballet classes and I think piano will be next…maybe then she can just teach me!
