Arrghhh, I’m half Japanese, in America, and I am terrible at writing or reading in Japanese. My little brother (third grade) is the lucky one, he got sent to Japanese school, while I stayed in an American elementary school. Now we’re both in American schools(elementary/jr-sr highschool), but he could probably still beat me in anything. My all-Japanese cousin wants to learn English badly, and I want to learn Japanese. I can’t write (much) or read, just speak a little and understand more. I want to prove to everyone I can do it. good luck to everyone else!
