This has turned out to be a more popular goal than I thought it would be when I put it down. For me the thought process was simple. I’m a geek, so why not (finally) be in a relationship with someone who at least understood what I was saying, or even better was enthusiastic about similar things.
For my part I’m enthralled with technology and the next best thing. Having spent countless relationships with women who just didn’t understand what even interested me in such things, let alone having any interest in finding out more or assisting with it, it was almost alarming the first time I sat down with a great friend of mine and explained a silly little thing I was working on and had her reply with a gleeful little “neat!” and suggesting a way I could do it better. That was the very moment the Date a Geek dream was born.
Why settle for stereotypical misunderstanding relationships when the perfect woman (or man) for you may well be out there?
