Should it stay or should it go?
In the new house there are very few convenient outlets in the kitchen or dining area. There is no counter space. To use the microwave I have to plug an extension cord in, but it can’t stay plugged in as it is hazardous.
I haven’t used the microwave in at least a week because of this…

We are in a full on purge. I try to do this every time I move. I look for things that have been undisturbed for a long time. Things wrapped in yellowed newspaper.
I always cull books and clothes. But sometimes it’s the things you ignore. The oh-I’ve-always-had-that-so-I-always-will type of stuff.
I got rid of these two “fancy” dragon collectibles I’ve had since I was a teen. They are really pretty, and I can remember them being expensive…but WTF…I am never going to put them out on a shelf and admire them again. Should I cart them around for all of eternity just because the cost $X 20 years ago?
Maybe somebody will find them and love them instead of me keeping them on the top shelf of the closet until the end of time.
