go out on "date nights" with my spouse on a regular basis

I took the kids to my mom’s for the weekend, so my husband and I could get a break. I try to take full advantage of every free time I get. Saturday, we went to dinner and a movie, despite the weather, we still had a good time. Dinner was good, we went to TGIF’s and took advantage of the 3 course menu. After dinner, we went to see Final Destination 3. Since we were early for the movie, we played games in the arcade. To our surprise, our favorite game Area 51 was broke, so we settled for some other shooting game. The movie was better than the first two put together, it was a mess, too much for words. After the movie, we were going to go to Target, but as soon as we left the parking lot, there was an overturned car on the highway, and it was ice on the road, so we turned around and went straight home. We had a nightcap and the rest is history.

Since this was my husband’s birthday weekend, we had a single date on Saturday and a double one on Sunday. Saturday night, we went to Dave and Buster’s, it was nice and quiet in the restaurant area. After we had dinner, we went and played some games; skee-ball is my favorite game, then we played the casino like games were you drop a coin in and it slides to knock the other coins off the ledge. It was a nice time playing games with no kids around.
Sunday night we went to the Mike Epps and friends comedy show, it was so funny. We won 4 tickets to the show and after party,so we took my BF and her escort. The show was so funny that my jaws hurt from laughing the next day. the afterparty was alright, the vip dj sucked, so everyone in vip went downstairs. We left the party at 1am, and went to Denny’s. It was such a fun weekend going out two nights in a row, and enjoying being an adult.

is my husband’s birthday, so we will be having a few outings. Saturday night we might go to Dave and Buster’s with a few friends and sunday night we will go to a party.

My husband and I had all day Saturday to ourselves, with absolutely nowhere to go. We got dressed and hopped in the car without a destination(there is nothing to do in Killeen). Had we have known Dick and Jane came out, we would have went to see it, but instead we went to Target and Kmart. So this evening, on the way to pick up the kids from my mom, we finally had a date. I wanted a salad from Bennigan’s, so my husband asked “are we going on a date or are we just eating?” I said what’s the difference, so he said it’s a date. It was pretty empty in there, so we had a quaint little booth all to ourselves. We enjoyed each other’s company peacefully and had a nice conversation.It is so nice to have time to reconnect with your spouse.

I looked high and low for a baby sitter. There are no services here in Killeen. I tried every search I could think of, I came up with nada. If I could find someone to keep our kids that would be lovely. Now we have to drive an hour away to Austin and leave them with my mom. Sometimes I just want to do something and come back home, or pick them up locally.
