I’ve still got an unbelievable to be read pile, but I’ve been avoiding the used book stands very sweetly, and will continue to do so. At the end of the pile I will be longing for something that’s excited my interest only recently, and instead of buying it I will be faced with my purchased yet unread concrete block of Clarissa. And when I’ve ravished her as mercilessly as Lovelace, I will finally have two more Things crossed off.
