Graduate

GO ME:DDD!!!

+ print out 8 mini versions of my final project DONE!;
+ sellotape all the project charts to the cardboards DONE!;
- make a presentation, using PowerPoint;
- buy covers;
+ make covers for all the project charts DONE!;
- write down a synopsis of my exam speech;
- revise 90 questions and answers I`ve already learnt and learn the remaining 16;
- on Monday – remember to take all the charts and my essay to the U., check the exact date of my exam;
- on Thursday – buy flowers for exam commission members;
- on Friday – remember not to pass out out of stress and simply – enjoy;)

My final exam consists of two parts – one is when I`ll be asked 3 of 106 questions (students are allowed to know those 106 questions and can prepare their own answers but we don`t know those final 3 we`re going to be asked, until the exam). It takes about 20 minutes and then is the main part of my exam when I should present my final project in front of a special commission and people who are just..hm.. curious and want to listen:P (which means – family, friends etc.). After that, examiners will ask questions about the project (questions from `the audience` are also allowed;)...

I`ve planned to get through 50 exam questions and answers this weekend which sounds a bit scary as I haven`t learned anything by heart since ..hm… One good thing is that this part isn`t very hard and our professors are usually quite understanding.

But I`m nervous anyway…

...the date is set FOR REAL. I completed all the neccesary documents and signatures and went to the dean`s office today so they could confirm the date. I`d really like to have my final exam as early that day as possible but it`s not sure yet… There are 6 other people (of course, also willing to have their exams in the morning), but, as far as I know, one person wants to quit and take the exam in September. So I`ll have to call the office next week and beg/threat/whine/do whatever it takes to convince all the office workers that it`s absolutely ESSENTIAL and IMPORTANT for me to take the exam at 8 in the morning….

I must be crazy…

...my final project.

I have Tuesdays off work, so I could have a whole day to spend with my project. Plus – I work on it for 3 hours daily.. Finally something clicked and I feel I`m on a right track but still there`s so much to do.. Sometimes I get tired of my daily routine when I have everything planned, even my time off work.. Hopefuly – it`ll only last next 3-4 months and then…? Then I`ll get more routine. :P

I`m currently fighting with my final project – I chose to design a printing house and really want to graduate in June..but is it possible? Today, I had a meeting with my profesor and he really made me feel depressed.. I`ve made research, know the technology that is typical for printing, have all the materials about machines they use, been to a printing house to see and feel all this stuff… have a place where I want my printing house to be, got a map.. Made tons of sketches about my thoughts how the building should look like.. actually – I could start designing.. but today my prof. saw my sketches for the 1000th time and said
`I think the best way is to make sketches.`
I got a little confused because I`ve spend a month discussing them an drawing them and now he acts as if he had never seen any.
He pays too much attention to conceptional work. Which is important of course but at this stage – it just stops my work…
June sounds so…impossible…:,(
