Someone called me a good listener the other day. I thought to myself, how can I be that when I am so busy figuring out what to say when someone is speaking!?!? I said thanks, somewhat graciously, and made mental notes to keep at it. I tried to remind me that there’s plenty of time to talk and don’t have to show my lack of wisdom so quickly. lol.. seriously, slow to speak is Biblical.. Lord, may I actually embrace that!
