Achieve Sho-Dan in Aikido

class got moved back from 630 to 530 so there’s no way i can make it coming from work. plus with the homework load from the masters’s program I can’t really give it much importance. I’ve decided to postpone it until December or January when I can give it more attention and really pursue improvement more seriously

my evening schedules are bumping into one another, and I’m not even going out anymore! good thing my Rotary badminton tournament cancelled so we dont have to practice as much anymore and I can put more time into aikido. Sensei says there is an exam in October and I can join. Need to get ready

had to stop going to aikido for a month due to the hectic requirements of aim. Now that things have loosened up a bit, I will return with a vengance! to peace and harmony of course :)

Sensei said I will be taking my test for 5th kyu in late July. gotta start practicing. My books on aikido just arrived today, yehay! I’m starting with Aikido fundamentals by moriteru Ueshiba. Very helpful even in the first few pages

attended several sessions taught by Shihan Sensei Katsurada from Hombu Dojo in Japan. very cool, got to see how its done right. Also attended a black belt exam for 1st Dan through 4th. I sure do have a long way to go. Cool this I actually go to practice with Sensei Katsurada and have dinner with him and his uchi deshi Suzuki. pretty cool guys
