This was a 2 for!

He claims it was love at first sight…and that all he wanted to do was kiss me. It took him 2 months to even do that – because in my usual style – I kept distancing because of his age.

But he just kept coming back, asking me out, sharing his loveliness with me, until finally he texted to ask me if he could kiss me the next time he saw me. It was really cute, funny and endearing and we now are enjoying the process of falling in love, getting to know each other and I feel so fortunate that someone who is so wonderful and supportive would be there for me the way that he is.

He is everything I ever wanted – my equal – in so many ways – apart from the age thing!

He is six years younger – and beautiful – and everything that was ever on my “list of attributes”. So I kept my mind open to this – and there it is – I am hopelessly, madly in love with him.

So the guy I will call ‘yoga man’ is a full 10 years younger than I am and believes I am younger than he is!!!!

He did ask me my age and I couldn’t answer because I wanted to laugh too hard to answer.

I owe him the answer. Like most guys in their late 30’s he is looking for someone to still have his babies. That won’t be happening with me, so I owe him the truth. But, I can see why so many of my friends tell me not to tell the truth.

Omission is one thing. Outright deception is something I wouldn’t do. Damn. I like yoga man. Very cute, large, brilliant egghead. It would be hard to be him. Cute and much too smart for most women. Think Big Bang characters but with great physiques and weight lifting muscles.

Oh well….

I guess I do look 6-10 years younger than I am because no one ever believes my age. It happened again Friday night. He’s at least 8 years younger and believes I am his age. I am not going to say no…when he asks…and he will…nor will I run.

And, he wants a second date!
