buy my own house

I’m moving city. I really love my current city, but never mind. The new city sucks for many many reasons, but the reason I’m citing here is the rent: rent in my next town is double what I am paying here!!! I think that is a good reason for buying somewhere as soon as I can – I’m going to be just giving someone 800€ per month for a tiny flat, which sucks.

To be honest, I don’t really want to buy my own house. I just feel that I ought to, really, as it’s the done thing. And it will give me more capital for my old age, I suppose.
