save some money

I lost my job today. That will help, big time.

I might be able to buy my plane ticket next week. Then if everything goes according to my plans and calculations, I should be able to save the equivalent of 1000 to 1200 euros in the next two months.

But, I have to be careful, obviously. It’s easier to spend money when the number in your bank account is getting higher and higher.

To make sure I make it to the end, and have all the money I want for my trip to Finland, I gave myself a goal that I won’t add to my list because it can fit under this goal.

I won’t spend more than $100 every week, without counting the bills (phone, insurance, car loan). Starting from now.

I wanted to buy new wheels for my car so badly! But it’s gonna wait for next year. And when I decide to not buy something for my car, you know I’m determined.

Today I got the number, how much I’ll be getting.

My trip to Finland is paid.

And I don’t need to tell you that I had a huge smile for my face for all the evening!

I need to save money for my big summer project, for my appartment furniture, and also for my trip to Finland next Fall. My trip to New York City wasn’t planned and it has affected my budget a lot! Hotel rooms, gas, activities… and even the cellphone (I received my bill today, ugh!!!).

Now I must be cautious and stop spoiling myself. Spend only the minimum.
