Exercise has helped but not because I lost weight 2 years ago

This has sincerely improved since I began exercising. I haven’t lost any weight and its not like I constantly feel good about myself. But I feel good about what my body is capable of doing when I exercise. Its hard not to like your body when you are challenging it.



How do I do this? 2 years ago

It wouldn’t be an exageration to say I really hate my body. It’s very difficult to exist in a body you hate so much. I’m overweight but when I was thin I hated my body too. So one of my other goals is to stop overeating. However, if I lose weight I honestly don’t think its going to make me like my body any better. In fact, I kind of dread people giving me compliments that I have lost weight—I know that could be construed as a compliment that you are heathly. But it feels more like people endorsing the ideal female body. Like an overweight person is an eyesore. So I’m not sure where to start with this.
