..things appear to be going still quite well, 146lbs at my last weigh in, i’m now jogging 2.25km 3 days on, 1 day off, eating well and making little changes.. That’s all for now :)

i’m on day 4 now and have been advised to take a rest day every 3 days, so having had strains in the past because i haven’t listened, i’ll be sticking with the ab workouts until tomorrow :) the jogging appears to be going quite well, i’m sleeping better but have also started to eat a little more due to the exercise.. my girlfriend is a fully fledged runner and has been for some years now, so we have decided that we will run a half marathon together in October, that’s something to certainly give me a good push..
..progress! my girlfriend uses the gym 4-5 days a week and has recently started doing ‘abs on the hour’, due to my gym being provided by work, there are no set classes, but a wealth of excellent equipment.. i discovered ‘8 minute abs’ online, 9 sets of 45 second ab workouts and gave it a go.. this will now take place of my usual crunches i think! i followed this with a brisk walk to the football field, 3 laps of jogging, 1 lap of walking, then a walk home.. not bad at all! treating myself to a tuna salad now for lunch :)
..hello, me again :) i have been clothes shoppng yesterday and much to my amazement i have manages to fit into 30” waist trousers and a ‘small’ shirt! this is pretty much the confidence boosts that i need to continue.. also a ‘skinny’ comment was aimed at me too from the girlfriends mother.. i am aiming for a jog around my walking route tomrrow.. NO excuses..
..tried another run today but my tendon in my heel is still pretty strained.. so i went for 2×1 hour walks, not going for another tonight as i’m letting it fully repair so can hopefully do a run tomorrow! wish me luck! this weeks shop was fully vegetarian this time so that’s the meat fats out of my diet.. managed 2 sets of 12 repetitions on the exercise ball.. i’m trying :)
..but i did play 5-a-side football for 60mins :) even managed to score a couple of goals! today will be the first day that i have missed out on exercise but i’m working 10 hours then driving 60 miles so i think i deserve it.. i have not weighed myself for 2 days but am happy with the results in the mirror! all my trousers and shorts are now too big.. result!
..after sitting steady at 152lbs for a few days, i now have 6 days off work wherein i wish to fast for 24hrs to clear the recent purge of unhealthy foods from my system.. i also intend to walk for 25mins, 3 times a day and also use my new exercise ball as a seat instead of the sofa.. i appreciate that this is a MASSIVE jump, but with the hours that i work, the days off are for putting in some serious effort.. i’ll let you know the outcome :)
..i’m a short chap, around 5’ 6” and according to the NHS (National Health Service) my ideal weight is 140lbs.. the last 3 times that I weighed myself I was 152, then 5 days later 147 then 5 days later 152.. I can easily put on and take off weight and it’s all about discipline, which I know I have after quitting smoking 4 months ago :) upon completion of this goal i’m sure that there will be a ‘maintenance’ goal to try and keep on top of..
