make deans list

Turns out, I did get a B in Algebra. That was what I was aiming for. But, because of the stupid writing grade, no deans list for me.

So, I’m not gonna make it now. My final grade in writing was a B. Which pisses me off. There is no possible way I can make an A in Algebra; I’ll be lucky if I get a B.

Oh, well, guess I’ll have to try harder next semester.

My final number grade in writing: 92. One frickin’ point keeps me off the Dean’s List. Fanbloodytastic.

If found out my grade in Writing today. It is a very high B (one point away from an A). My instructor says that she would be very surprised if I didn’t get an A. She also said that if I am very close (like 92.5), she’ll round up.

So, my grades are:
College Algebra—79% (C) (three credits) (just had a test…I find out the grade in half an hour)
Intro to College life—101% (A) (one credit)
General Psychology—83% (B) (three credits) (have a test tomorrow…must get A)
Interpersonal Communications—92% (A) (three credits)
Writing I—93% (three credits) (let’s just round up for now)

So, that makes my GPA 3.31. Grr…that’s .19 points away from Dean’s List. If I make a B in algebra or an A in psychology, I’ll make it.

I don’t think I’m going to make it this semester. I’d have to get an A in writing, which I don’t think is going to happen.

sigh

I’ll just have to try harder next semester.

The only grade I’m really worried about is my Writing I grade.

Right now, my grades are:
College Algebra—79% (C) (three credits)
Intro to College life—101% (A) (one credit)
General Psychology—83% (B) (three credits)
Interpersonal Communications—92% (A) (three credits)
Writing I—Low B or C (three credits)

So, based on that…
I’d have a 2.84 gpa if I get a C in Writing, or a 3.07 gpa if I get a B in Writing. And, assuming I’ll be able to raise algebra to a B, I’d have a 3.07 gpa if Writing is a C, or a 3.3 if Writing is a B.
