We went ahead and purchased the Colloquial Amharic book by David Appelyard with accompanying CD. The lessons cover a lot of material, but it is very thorough and helpful. We’re getting there slowly.

My wife and I ordered a CD Rom which is helping us learn basic stuff. This will be a good start, but I hope to find additional resources to aid with the script and sentence structures.
