My new theme tune! 2 years ago

Mika – Big girl (you are beautiful)

I love this song, and the video is fab!

Anya Hindmarsh bag! 2 years ago

Woo-hoo! The “I’m not a plastic bag” shopping bags by Anya Hindmarsh came into Sainsbury’s supermarket stores at 8am this morning. Each store only had 30 each, but as I got there at 7am I was number 17th in the queue!! Yaaaay!

I love it!

Silver Jewellery 2 years ago

I had a silver jewellery party last night at my house. My friend Cassie brought all her pieces round (she does parties to sell her imported jewellery) and some of my friends turned up. It was really cool, and I bought a gorgeous new ring, 2 pairs of earrings and a necklace which after my discount cost me £21! Wicked!

I shall be the belle of the ball! lol

How amazing women are:

They carry children,
they carry hardships,
they carry burdens,
yet they hold faith, happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They volunteer for good causes.

They are senators, educators, childcare workers, executives, attorneys, truck drivers, pilots, stay at home moms and your neighbors.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up against injustice.

They write to the “powers that be” for things that make for a better life.

They don’t take “no” for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.

They can wipe a tear, cover a cut and pat you on the back at the same time.

They go without new shoes so their children can have them.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They tell people that need to be told to straighten up their act.

They lend a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen and a voice to make suggestions.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They have sorrow at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They can round up energy, even when they are tired.

They can stay up a little longer to talk to someone that needs a friend.

Women do more than give birth.

They bring peace and hope.

They give compassion and ideals.

They give moral support to their family and friends.

They weep with joy when their children excel, and cheer when loved ones get awards.

Women want people to grow into the best person they can be.

They want to touch you in a way that will make you share your goodness with others.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair …

True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes

because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin!

I AM A GODDESS damn it! I am beautiful, creative, intelligent and caring. Why on earth should I NOT feel great about myself?

I bought another book 3 years ago

called “Goddess, be the woman you want to be” by Elisabeth Wilson. I’ve had a quick flick through and it looks quite cool.

New stuff 3 years ago

Following my big X-mas shopping spree, I now own 2 new gorgeous going out tops and a fabulous pair of berry colour stilettos.

I also started reading the book “How to walk in high heels, a girl’s guide to everything” by Camilla Morton. I shall be a style goddess in no time!

Shopping 3 years ago

I found a gorgeous pair of red ankle boots with a kitten heel in New Look, and also a red handbag to go with them. Can’t wait to wear them down the pub!

The first step.... 3 years ago

to wear more stylish clothes.

I did a bit of shopping yesterday and instead of buying the usual fleeces now its getting colder, I bought two lovely woolen cardigans in cream and red. They look way less dowdy, and should make me look slimmer coz the fleeces just bulk me up. I could even dress them up a bit and wear heels with them….but still wear my uniform comfy jeans.
An imrovement me thinks!
