I’ve taken up a Tai Chi class on a Monday evening as well as still doing the aqua aerobics class on Wednesdays. In the house I seem to be busier instead of just sitting around looking at everything that needs doing….and Meg is coming on leaps and bounds! She’s 19 months old now and its such fun playing with her now she’s running about and starting to talk. She’s great!

I’ve been doing more of my latch hook rug which I really enjoy, and last night after aqua aerobics I took some ‘me’ time to have a lovely hot bath before bed. Bliss!
My friend Graham (Reiki master and medium) has been teaching me mediumship every Monday night for the last month. Its taken some funny twists though. Last week he ended up reading for me and told me some harsh truths about things going on in my life – he wasn’t aware of what was happening beforehand. Last night we ended up drawing a big spider diagram of all the things that I think/worry about on a daily basis. It took up a whole page! (The general idea is that to be a good medium, you need to be well in yourself first)
Now I need to work on the diagram to do more things that make me feel better and stop worrying about the small stuff. Easier said than done, but I’ll very willing to give it a go.
The aim is to declutter my head so that only the important things are left and I don’t have my busy head on all the time. Its very hard to concentrate with so much whizzing round my mind.
So, Sarah and I went round Sara’s house last night and I had a really good time. We cooked pizza and doughballs, did facemasks, I painted Sara’s nails, and watched my favourite Victoria Wood (famous English comedienne) DVD.
Mostly, it was lovely to spend some time with the Sara(h)’s. Hopefully we’ll all do stuff like this more often.
I had an ok day yesterday. Did some more of my latch hook rug, and went to aqua aerobics with Sarah in the evening. Really felt better for doing some exercise. When I got home Mark and I had a very insightful chat and he opened up to me completely about stuff thats going on in his life….I love hearing about whats going on with him….I’d like him to do it more often!
Tonight Sarah and I are going round Sara’s house to eat pizza, drink wine and pamper ourselves for a bit. I’m really looking forward to seeing both of them! They are 2 of my best friends that I consider to be family.

My soul feeding activities today consisted of:
- 1 hour stitching
- Updating my 43 things page
- 6 minutes on my step machine
Yesterday I reorganised my new sewing box, went to my aqua aerobics class and then went down the pub and had a chat with some friends there.
It was a bit of a struggle balancing the “have to do” stuff with the fun stuff, but I feel I really made an effort and I feel better for it.
to feed my soul more! I think that maybe if I do one or two things that make me happy every day I’ll be more content in general.
This in mind, yesterday I took some time to do some cross stitch and finish reading “The fat girl’s guide to life”.
Last night my friend Graham (Reiki Master/medium) came over and LJ and myself had a night of healing from him, and then we tried some too. It was really good fun and I’m sure we’re both sensitive to a more spiritual way of life.
Later on, Graham opened up to hearing spirits and we had a really cool mediumship session.
We all really enjoyed it and I think it may be something that we do once a month from now on to develop our abilities. I definately felt more in tune with my inner self.
