35. FROM DUSK TILL DAWN 1996
This is one of those Love it or Hate it type of movies. Campy, Orgy of Bullits, Stripper Vampires and exploding Corpses. Its like a video game come to life with bad language and sick idea’s. Its almost shameful to admit that I liked it so much. But the combination of Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney, make it fun to watch. You would never watch this movie with your parents in the room, but if you had all your friends over, it would be a blast.

34. THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT 1999
Yep, one of the scarriest movies ever. It was well made with a very cheap budget and turned out to be incredibly successful. It was so scarry it was hard to watch. No big name actors. No blood and gore, no monsters jumping out and killing anyone. Just good suspense and good acting about a few people lost in the woods.
33. THE SIXTH SENSE (1999) ””Child psychiatrist Malcolm Crowe is confronted one night by his former patient Vincent Gray who he failed to help. After Vincent shoots Crowe in the stomach and kills himself, Crowe can’t stop thinking about it. A few months later he is hired to help a troubled boy named Cole Sear, who has many of the same problems Vincent had. Crowe sees a chance to redeem himself, but doubts his ability to reach the boy, particularly when Cole claims to see ghosts who don’t know they’re dead.”” Bruce Willis proves he is an incedible actor. Totally believable part and an ending that will send chills down your spine.
32. ALIEN (1979) ””When commercial towing vehicle Nostromo, heading back to Earth, intercepts an SoS signal from a nearby planet, the crew are under obligation to investigate. After a bad landing on the planet, some crew members leave the ship to explore the area. At the same time as they discover a hive colony of some unknown creature, the ship’s computer deciphers the message to be a warning, not a call for help. When one of the eggs is disturbed, the crew do not know the danger they are in until it is too late.””
This movie showed what a great actress Sigorny Weaver is. The chest bursting scean and the face hugging scean are incredible.
31. Silence of The Lambs (1991)
””An FBI agent (Jodie Foster) hesitantly turns to a deranged but brilliant serial killer, the cannibalistic Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), to help her sketch the psychological profile of a new murderer on the loose. Chilling suspense gives a peek into the mind of an evil genius.”” This movie has become a classic and speaks volumns in the horror department. It has to be on everyones top ten lists of scariest movies ever. If you are looking for a great movie to watch with friends on Halloween (noone under 16 because of content matter), this is the movie to rent. Special effects? No. – but a solid script and great acting.
30. MEN IN BLACK 1997
A truely original movie about a secret organization controlling all the alein’s that visit our world. Great Cast and lots of funny moments throughout. Very cleaver dialog.
29. THE ARRIVAL 1996
Charlie Sheen and Terri Polo. Great story. ””A shy radio telescope operator named Zane Ziminski (Charlie Sheen) picks up a series of regular signals coming from space—and deliberately pointed toward Earth. Convinced that he has discovered alien transmissions, Ziminski is first chastised and then fired by his boss (Ron Silver). Obsessed, he builds a makeshift radio telescope in his house to find out where the signals were sent. Convinced that they’re intended for aliens already hidden on Earth, he tracks them to a bleak, isolated Mexican village, where he joins forces with a female scientist (Lindsey Crouse), who has suspicions of her own after witnessing an acceleration of global warming. The villagers turn out to be aliens, and the village a front for an underground alien complex. The aliens are here to “terraform” Earth and prepare it for the arrival of the rest of their race, who will die unless they leave their homeworld and colonize elsewhere. Only Ziminski can stop them.””
It won the Best movie award from the Science Fiction & Fantesy & Horror Film Assciation.
28. THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL 1951
A movie made over 50 years ago, and its still a favorite with lots of people. Great acting and a wonderful script. They are making a new version in 2008, lets hope its at least half as good as the original. If you are reading this and haven’t seen this movie, you don’t really know what Sci-Fi is.
27. Ghostbusters 1984
What can I say. A group of elite scientists that start a buisness to catch ghosts. Great special effects for that time and a lot of very well known actors. I’m sure everyone has seen clips out of the movie, but its one that you should sit down and watch all the way through. Not a movie that gives you a chuckle every now and then, but a lot of continuous laughter. Very well acted and written.
26. A League of Their Own (1992)
I don’t really care for sports a lot, and this is a movie about baseball. Well not really. Its a comedy movie about possible baseball teams that women started in the 1940’s. Its about two sisters and the bonds they form. Its funny yet has several very sharp points in it as well. Everyone will appreciate this movie. Tom Hanks is very good, as are Lori Petty and Geena Davis. I think this is Madonna’s Best role. Well, her ONLY good role. She proves she can act in this movie, but it never happened again. Rosi O’donnle even makes a good showing and I don’t care for her at all. You will be glad you watched this movie.
