I've tried

... but they are so “moody”.
I have a green thumb for everything but orchids.
I once found this orchid in the trash of a Florist shop. I nursed it and made it healthy, but no flower. After 2 years, I gave it to my Mom and within a month it bloomed with beautiful purple orchids. It stayed blooming for almost three months, and then it died. There was nothing my Mom did to make it bloom, nor could she keep it alive.
I’ve tried rasing other orchids, but they either died on me or never bloomed. Like I said: they are very moody.
