1. Script Frenzy is an international writing event in which participants take on the challenge of writing 100 pages of scripted material in the month of April.
2. There are no fee to participate nor prices to win. It is only about having fun and feeling great having achieved this marathon writing event (you get a winner certificate)....or made an attempt to.
3. The event is hosted by The Office of Letters and Light based in Oakland, CA.
4. The script will be word-counted by a robot computer and thereafter deleted. No one reads the scripts unless you chose yourself to put it online.
5. You can together in a team of 2, even finding a buddy on the international forum pages or in write-in coffeeshops.
6. The script can be screen plays, stage plays and tv scripts.
7. A similar event is NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month. Here you have to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November.
I love his music, but now little of his persona.
1. His real name was Chesney Henry Baker Jr.
2. He a primary exponent of the West Coast school of cool jazz in the early and mid-’50s, playing trumphet, flygelhorn, piano and singing.
3. He died in Amsterdan in 1988, 58 yrs old, when he fell out a hotel window.
