In one of the books I read this year, there was an actress who, upon turning 50, decided that the only alcohol she would consume would be champagne. I think THAT’S classy. I bought rose champagne for tonight’s toast, and depending on how I like it, I’ll decide whether to forego any other alcohol myself. Besides, one glass has only 80 calories. I can be classy while slimming down! LOL

Reintroducing one of the most basic staples of a classy woman. 17 months ago

Pantyhose! Since coming to South Georgia, and working in a small “one man show” law firm, I’ve relaxed a bit in my wardrobe. Most of my newly purchased items are slacks, and when I do wear a skirt, it’s usually in the summer, with sandals. Starting Monday (another new beginning), I’m going back to wearing pantyhose, which means more dresses and skirt suits. I actually miss those things!
