& somewhat uncomfortable at times, if really have been slouching for a while.
I had to change my chair.
I’ve started using a Swiss ball for stretching.
I was putting my neck in traction off the side of the bed to ensure I wasn’t stretching unevenly (which would hurt… )
But wow.
I think I gained back a whole INCH back!

and supported my mattress to improve my posture.
I started by laying on my back & holding my feet to stretch each morning. In the evening, I’m putting golf balls along my pelvis to stretch out muscles & ligaments.
I’m finding the weird stretchy, pseudo-Pilates/calesthenics routine I did in my 20s is really working. I didn’t give up on my routine until I moved to Toronto & had enough money for groceries… blush When I dropped the Dean Ornish diet & picked up the french cheese, beef & glass of beer diet…
I’ve been decompressing my neck before I sleep & doing morning yoga for a few weeks now.
The Husband is having a bit of trouble, but I think I can improve his problem by including one more board further towards his knees.
I’m not sure, but I think the improved support is actually stretching muscles. I’ve had a terrible time finding a comfortable position for longer than about 10 minutes. Shuffle, shuffle. But my back is feeling incredible the last few days.
I actually get sensation in my upper shoulders again! Surprisingly sexy when you haven’t felt much for a few years.
