be more social

Im always complaining that i dont have enuff friends,that i never meet new ppl,that i dont go out a lot…and then i realized i gotta take action! I realized that i was constantly turning down invitations cuz A. I didnt kno the person that much. B i had other important stuff 2 do or didnt have time.C just felt like stayin home and watch tv. Im in summer vacation til september 1st and i made a vow 2 myself 2 accept every invitation and dont make up lame excuses to not go out. Im workin on this goal since last week. For instance,last monday i went with my mother to a free festival in town. i had nothing to do and even tho i dont normally hang out with my mom so much (we<re not super close), i went with her and we had a good time. on thursday i went to a jazz festival with my friend, even tho i felt lazy and wanted to stay in my room and read a book. again, it was fun, just hanging out downtown was a good idea. On friday, i went to the club with 2 friends and we had a great time. On Saturday,i went to a picnic and in the evening i went to see fireworks with a friend.Again, i wouldnt normally do this because as the lazy lady that i am, i hate to accept invitations when its super far from my house and i have to take the bus + the metro + walk for long + come back late to my house but i sucked it up and went for it and didnt regret the evening. Today i went with a friend of a mine to her friends house. I didnt want to go in the 1st place cuz i dont really know her friend but i remembered this personal goal and accepted the invitation. It was fun and i enjoyed swimming in her pool. Overall, i can say im working pretty good on that goal, but i still didnt meet anyone new.
