1. Last day of work for the year is today. Yippeeeee.
2. Nice, full week off next week.
3. Legs are feeling better of late from all the winter running.
4. Finally feeling some Christmas spirit. (I ususally don’t do well at this time of year.)
5. Great photo gift from PF. She is the best.
It’s Thanksgiving week, and today I am especially grateful for:
1. The short three day work week
2. Our local running store, they do so much for the community and for each individual runner
3. My great friends, who continue to let me hang with them and laugh at all my dumb, corny jokes
4. My warm, dry, food-filled home
5. My loving family

1. I tasted it in the breakfast I had with friends yesterday
2. I heard it in the conversation I had with JK
3. I felt it the warmth of my home

Today I am grateful for:
1. a warm, fall Saturday.
2. finding $10 in my old gym bag
3. nice breakfast with PF
4. nice morning run that felt good; even after yesterday’s 11 mile run
5. buying a new pair of my favorite socks (Balega) at the local running store (I can’t believe I get excited over socks, but these socks are great!)
Today I am grateful for:
1. a nice early morning run, looking into a bright sunrise
2. music at work
3. being able to take PF to lunch for her birthday.
4. half day of work tomorrow
5. making butternut squash soup and having it come out edible. It was actually very good. I had two bowls.
Today I am grateful for:
1. Nice lunch with BB
2. My cold is winding down
3. It is warm enough to run in shorts
4. Some simple plans for the weekend
5. PF is coming home. I miss her.

5. Getting up early and felling rested.

1. this brutal week is over.
2. lunch with co-workers where we did not talk about work
3. Dancing lessons (which I actually did enjoy)
4. laughing with friends
5. beer
Today I am grateful for:
1. being able to look out of my window and see a wonderful landscape stretching out in front of me.
2. breathing deep, feeling the air fill my lungs
3. feeling the joy of my friends as they cross the finish line
4. having the desire to get out there and join them
5. knowing I can join them. All I have to do is try.
