learn shorthand

Its strange but of all the things I want to do on my list, learning shorthand is the one thing I was already doing. Because of all the new things, my shorthand studies have taken a back seat. I think I am going to have to put a stop to new goals and get back to the oldies.

Ive been at it for about a month and a half now.
I am using the Gregg aniversary textbook along with Speed Studies and the Direct Method Materials book. The books all correspond and are to be read concurrently.
The direct Materials book is fun because it is 350 pages of squiggles with a index that shows when a word or phrase first is used in the book.
I had the good fortune of finding that book in a used bookstore when I was first looking around for shorthand.

I am currently on chapter five for those who are familiar with the books.
