visit my mother every month

I will return for Thanksgiving.

I was a bit slack because of my job location change about getting to see my mom regularly. But I am here with her now and having a good time…despite the fact that the hubby couldn’t make it. I even opted out of a big vacation to spend most of a week home (I did get two short ones, LA & Chicago earlier in the year). And I happy with my decision.

The last time I went home was Memorial Day weekend. But due to my work schedule during June and July, I may not be able to get back until Aug.

I better keep this promise to myself because my mom practical hit herself with her own car last weekend!

Right after my father passed away last summer, I was very good about keeping this one. But sometime after January this year I got bogged down in my personal suff and got overwhelmed at work. I didn’t visit for 3 months. But I did go April 21st for a quick vist and will return Memorial day weekend. so I am on track and doing much better.
