I’m working on for my 30 day compassionate self-discipline retreat, found in the book Making a Change For Good: A Guide to Compassionate Self-Discipline.
Breakfast0fChampions has written 3 entries about this goal
1) Limit time on time-wasting websites
2) Limit # of result-based activities in a day (such as dishes, laundry, vacuuming)
Ok, so these aren’t the only things I have to limit but they’re very important. Countless times I’ve chosen to do something else that’s usually physical and heavy in instant results (washing dishes, cleaning or organizing) over something more process and step oriented (writing, job hunting, studying, etc.)
Having a really hard time with this. Last Monday was a good day because I told myself to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
But everything went downhill for the rest of the week. And now I’m cramming for a test I should have been studying for for the past 5 days.
I hate stats.
