I gave it a shot!

Well, I’m sure if I counted all the children’s picture books that I’ve read to my kids, I would have made my goal and then some, but I only wanted to count the books I read to myself. So, I’m finishing off this year at 80 books, but considering there was a time when I only read one or two books per year, I consider it quite an accomplishment.

For 2008, rather than reading for quantity, my goal is to sit back and thoroughly savour every single book I read. I’ll still be keeping track on my blog, but if I don’t get anywhere near 100, it’s still okay.

Happy New Year and Happy Reading!
