Today after I came home from school and talked with a friend of mine on the internet I pulled out the yoga mat, my ashtanga book and put on a pair of shorts. Then I got down to business. I wasn’t on the mat long because I was teaching myself how to do a proper sun salutation today. One spot that I got stuck on was when you go down into that small push-up pose just before downward dog. So I’m just about to look it up at www.yogajournal.com to figure out what I am doing wrong.



Ashtanga

I’ve had the time everyday to do yoga but I haven’t. I really don’t have an excuse for this because I do know a couple of poses but the reason I have been putting it off is because I want to learn the ashtanga yoga sets. I have a book that describes this particular style of yoga and its sets. I should try to memorize them today so I can do at least the first set tomorrow.
