get corrective eye surgery

Optimax again today. Waiting to hear back.

I wrote to Optimax and they suggested I should still attend, so I shall.

Had a standard eye test with the local optician today. Eyes are pretty stable and no problems identified. Considering using contact lenses again in light of the Ultralase test. However, it may still be worth checking with Optimax for eye surgery.

Went to Ultralase today. I must say that I was underwhelmed with everything about this outfit from the start, so it wasn’t such a crushing disappointment when they said I wasn’t suitable for surgery and promptly escorted me from the premises all possibilities of squeezing some cash out of me having expired. I was a little surprised as I am not outrageously shortsighted, anyway it was something to do with flat cornea. I blame Itchy on account of his jumping up and down on my head in the morning demmanding cocopops with menaces, that’s bound to have flattened something.

I may still get a second opinion from Optimax, but I think I’ll call them first as I wouldn’t want to waste their time, oh yeah and my money.

On a positive note it I’m blessed that I can see very well with my spectacles/contacts etc, and lets face it you taking off your bin’s and thrusting them determinedly in order emphasise a point.

making an appointment with Optimax now. I have a check up scheduled for mid September and a surgery session for the next day if suitable/brave enough!

I have arranged a check up session with Ultralase the Laser Eye Clinic in Bristol on Friday afternoon this week.

Watched the promotional DVD on this today. It all looks so easy.

I’m going to book an eye test this week just to check my vision and general state of the old peepers, also an opportunity to quiz an optician on what they think of surgery.
