read war and peace

Now that just leaves another 14 books and two epilogues to go . . .

I’ve read War and Peace once, but this time, I decided to do it as a group exercise. So, on my blog, on 1 July, we started reading War and Peace at the rate of 1 or 2 chapters a day. Every day, I write a comment on the chapter I’ve read, and people can chip in their comments.

I’ve read W&P once before, but there’s so many details in there, that it’s actually really luxurious to read it slowly and enjoy the details. I’ve got 12 other people doing it as well, so that’s kind of encouraging too.
