try something new

I’m going to start learning jokes so I can tell them to people. I always tend to forget jokes but now I’m going to pay attention and actually seek them out online. This will also give me a laugh!

I made my own body scrub today and I will use it tomorrow. I just took an empty container, added a pile of sugar to it, filled it up with olive oil (so that all the sugar was saturated with the oil), and then added about 20 drops of lavender oil as a preservative and to reduce any potential itching that I might experience after using the scrub (I used to avoid them in the past because they made my legs itch so much). So I’ll try it out tomorrow and use it whenever I need to and it was CHEAP!

I learned to play majong on the computer over the weekend. Apparently its just matching tiles. I always thought it was something more complicated. I don’t know how to play it with another person using actual blocks though. I think I want to learn how to play dominoes next!

I also spent some time playing online word and matching games online and I never do that!

Last night I learned (well as best I could) how to play solitaire on the computer. My computer actually came with the program so that was conveninent. I don’t know how you would have the patience to do that with actual playing cards. I learned a lot from trial and error and I was pretty horrible but I learned to do better. I played for a few hours and only won twice! But tonight I’m going to try again when I’m not tired. It takes patience but I want to be good at this one.

Master the hula hoop
