I love my treadmill! 1 month ago

I bought a treadmill in August. I use it almost everyday. I walk on it when I’m watching tv, so its not like I have to schedule time for exercise or I miss out on anything. I usually watch tv or a 2 hour movie. I’m on the treadmill for 1.5-2 hours and I try to jog for 20 minutes of that time. If I set the speed low I can even read things I need for work the next day. I love the convenience of being able to do this whenever I want. I ordered the treadmill online at Sears and they delivered it. It was a good investment I think.



too busy and stressed 3 years ago

I have been really busy and stressed over the past couple of weeks. Because of that I didn’t exercise. However, my appetite has gone down too so I am adjusting my eating to my activity level. One more month of school and then I’m free!
I still walk about 30-40 minutes everyday just to get around.



Busy but Trying 3 years ago

I am a lot busier than I was over the summer, but I am still fittin in several workouts per week. Now that I have an exercise and eating planner for my PalmPilot, it will be even easier to schedule things.



Scheduling Workouts 3 years ago

I am using my Palm Pilot to schedule my workouts over the busy school year. I printed out my schedule and it’s hanging on my wall. Saturday will be my fun fitness day when I am the most active. I will do my elliptical for 20 minutes, jump rope for 10 minutes, and go on a one hour power walk. Sunday will be my relaxing fitness day. I will do a dance tape, followed by an abs tape, and then some yoga stretching. I want to be physically active every day now :)



Glue 3 years ago

I need to go to the store and buy some glue. I needed to put non-slip pads because the foot platforms on my elliptical were sort of slippery (not good manufacturing). I always had to adjust my footing because my feet would slowely slide to the end of the platforms. The pads won’t stick on their own so I need to buy some glue now. Then I won’t have to worry about sliding off the machine :)



Really Tired 3 years ago

I was really tired over the past 2 days. Cardio went well yesterday though.



Physically Active Every Day 3 years ago

Last week I was physically active atleast once a day, everyday. I went to the gym for weight training, used my elliptical at home for cardio, went for powerwalks, stayed active on my fitness ball, and went for a rollerblading lesson. I like the way I feel and they changes this has been making in my body.



Exercise at School/Work 3 years ago

Today I walked faster than normal. I went up and down the stairs several times today instead of taking the elevator. I worked up a sweat. I have to get used to being sweaty because I will be burning calories. Who cares if my face is sweaty. I’ll just carry my hand fan and dab my face with kleenex. I’ll wear some light perfume just in case but I think I have pretty strong deodorant.



Easy exercises while watching tv 3 years ago

I exercised a lot yesterday while I watched tv. I used my balance ball, twist board, and fitness tubing. It was a lot of fun and I think I would enjoy doing this on a regular basis.



Balance Ball at Work 3 years ago

I brought a balance ball to work and inflated it. Now I can bounce at my desk which is really fun. It also feels really good. Definitely my butt won’t get sore and I’m sitting up straight :)
