this is going pretty well. I have been exercising every day, eating well, and avoiding caffeine.
Now I just have to work on getting enough sleep every night and I’ll be golden.

This morning I worked out for 1/2 hour on my elliptical trainer. Then I went for a walk when I got home from work. Hopefully exercising more often will help keep the stress level down. I’ve been doing a little every day to stay in relaxation mode.
I went to the library today and borrowed a book called “Total Stress Relief – Practical Solutions that Really Work” by Vera Peiffer. I started reading it and I think it’s helpful.
Ok, last night wasn’t so great. Got in a big stupid fight with my Husband and got all stressed out.
Today I made soup again, went for a walk around the park, and tried to chill out. I put away some Christmas decorations. I have to go back to work tomorrow so I am pacing myself. I need to stop arguing with my husband.
Today was a relaxing day. I slept late, made homemade soup for lunch, chatted with a friend online, cooked dinner. I didn’t do anything too taxing or get in any arguments with my husband. I don’t feel stressed today, which is good. I feel like I have a pretty good handle on my life and I don’t feel overwhelmed. Focusing on the positive.
to add this goal so I can work on managing my stress level. Lately there has been so much going on/changing and I have been wound as tightly as a ball of twine. With the holidays, my stepkids being here, money issues, moving soon, etc., I have been flipping out on my husband and just generally a miserable person to be around, not to mention that I’m exhausted physically and mentally and I feel horrible. I’ve been having neck pain and chronic headaches and haven’t been sleeping well.
I am going to shoot to take at least one step every day to manage my stress.
Today I did a few things. My husband left to take the kids to the aeropuerto, and I made myself lunch and then took a bath. I mixed in some aromatherapy bath salt and literally soaked for an hour. I was all pruney afterwards. And I felt better.
Then my husband came home and we finally had some time to ourselves, ate dinner, and are now listening to classical music and burning incense while we sit here and vegge. It is nice.
