get a better job

I am so excited! I start on Monday… I hope I love it!

well I have a job now but I don’t know if I love it yet. It’s too soon to tell.

I have another job interview on Thursday for a firm I interviewed with last week. I also saw a posting today for a prosecutor job. I would like the firm job but if that doesn’t work out then at least I have another path to take. I need a job!

Well I found out that I passed the NV bar here. So that is a good thing. Now I can start looking for a job. I sent my resume to 3 different firms. Hopefully it won’t take too long to get a job. And I hope it’s a job I will like.

My job sucks the life out of me lately.
Maybe it’s because I know it is only about 78 days and I will be off doing something else. It’s hard to stay focused and motivated.
Also it’s the anxiety of not having something else happening for me yet.
I put out a bunch of applications. The job I really want closes on March 1st. So I hope to hear something then.

Today I mailed yet another job application. So far I have applied to jobs in Washington DC, Baltimore, VIrginia, England, and Las Vegas. The one today was in Vegas. That is the best one so far, opportunity wise. I hope I hear from someone soon!!!!

I have been doing a lot of job research and I sent out about 6 resumes and cover letters already. There are a ton of jobs out there so that gives me hope.

I am moving on from my job as of 1 May. I am going to join the Reserves, and search for some other job that is fulfilling and has a lot of opportunity. Where and what, I haven’t decided yet…. but I need some other opportunites. I’d like to start my own business at some point. But that’s kind of on hold for now.

(1) take the bar in North Carolina this July
(2) save money so I can leave my current job and look for a new one
(3) keep kicking ass at my job now so I can put that on my resume
