inspire and be inspired

Today I was talking to one of my clients who came in to get a will, and I happened to mention investing. I gave her some tips on where to start in coming up with a plan for her finances. She was so excited she actually said that it was a “miracle” that she had met me and that just yesterday she was wondering where she was going in her life.
It makes me feel good when I help people. :)

We saw the eclipse of the moon on my birthday.
That was pretty cool.

This is a photo of a mummy that was discovered in the Amazon rainforest in Peru.
I was just browsing online and found it.

I look at this person, who lived thousands of years ago, and I wonder what happened to her. I feel strongly that it is a female, I’m not really sure why… other bodies were found with her, and one of them was a baby. But this one- the body looks so small and terrified, with her hands up to her face, clearly frightened for her very life.

I wonder what happened to this person, what kind of life she had, what her hopes and dreams were.

It is so amazing to me that this person has been found, and what was once a horrible secret has somehow been discovered, just her body itself is evidence of her terrible fate.

I feel so fortunate to be living now and to be in a position where I can perhaps use my job and my education to help people and prevent terrible crimes from happening to people.

If anyone has a chance to hear Curtis Zimmerman speak or read any of his books, I highly encourage you to do it!! I saw him speak last Friday and it was amazing.
I am very inspired.

I swear I am not getting paid for saying this.

I watched about 6 hours of this show this past weekend. I had never seen it before. I am SOOOO motivated now!! Yay me!
