We went to B’s funeral this past weekend, I will miss him very, very much. I consider him to be one of my all time heroes. Anyway, since then I have been sort of out of it, hard time getting back into the routine. I know in time it will get better, but for the moment it is hard even trying to do basic things.

Tonight was so unusual.  — 6 months ago

Our friend is a quadraplegic, and he is has been declining in health for a while now. I ended up getting a free ticket to a dance concert tonight, put on the the Aspen Dance Connection. I went by myself. I watched many very talented people dance all night, while I thought about my friend who has been in a wheelchair for over 20 years die, his body overcome with the burden of life.
I can imagine that when he arrives to his new life on the other side of the death he is experiencing now, he will dance. I am still so sad though, I will miss him, and right now I am overcome with thoughts for him, and his family.

A young lady that I have known since she was a small child died in a car wreck last night. She was only 20. My kids are about the same age. I am at a loss for words.
