I organised almost all my digital photos with Picasa, and am quite pleased with the result… The “star” system also helps me find my favourites.

It’s not shining spick-and-span, but it’s reasonable… I washed all the dishes, swept the balcony, fed the animals, washed, dried, hung and took down clothes, vaccummed the bedroom, cleared out and put away a lot of clothes as well, tidied up the kitchen a bit. Still a lot to do, like mop the floor, clean the windows, etc, but I decided to give myself a break as a prize for doing everything so (relatively) fast, I sometimes make the mistake of doing too little usually, and then when I do too much I wear myself out without giving myself a pat on the back. I think the pat on the back (positive reinforcement of the desired conduct) is more important than making everything even cleaner and tidier, my end result is not a perfect house today, but a generally tidy lifestyle.
Good for me. What a good girl I am. :) I am especially proud that I am taking care of the whole house besides working 11 hours a day just so my husband can study (he has exams this month).
I am trying it out, and I like it… not for everything and everyone, but it’s a good way to file stuff you don’t know how to file, especially if you are like me and your requirements/priorities change constantly. I’m using it for my extensive “library” of inspiration references (both for drawing and writing, all the articles and pictures I rip out of magazines. It’s almost fun! I read about it here :http://communicationnation.blogspot.com/2005/12/noguchi-filing-system.html
Got everything (found everything) for that, so that’s done; my office is looking better, neater, but still not 100%. I still have a lot of paperwork that I think “I may need some day”.
My first short term goals are finding the papers for my tax declaration, and since I’m getting a new office just for myself, making it a neat, nice place to work.
